David Ho – Chief Executive Officer


David serves as Chief Executive Officer of New Market Investors LLC (“NMI”) managing a portfolio of 19 properties with approximately 2,500 apartment units located in 7 states. They consist of conventional, Section 8 and Section 42 properties. David is in charge of the operation of the company overseeing the areas of planning, operations, accounting, financing, acquisitions and other investments. In addition, David oversees NMI Property Management LLC (“NMI PM”), a wholly owned subsidiary of NMI. NMI PM is the property management arm of NMI with approximately 85 employees. David is to ensure the physical integrity and the financial viability of the assets within the portfolio

Prior coming to NMI in 2016, David served as Senior Manager at Ocwen Financial Corporation.New Market Investors He managed Ocwen’s entire low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) portfolio and a number of commercial assets including conventional apartments of all classes, warehouses, office condos and retail for Ocwen and its clients. David was responsible for all aspects of asset management including overseeing third-party property managers, asset performance, financing, investor relations, sale of the properties and compliance. He also reviewed commercial loans underwritten by other major financial institutions for quality control purposes. Prior to his asset management role, David was involved in LIHTC property development including land acquisition, tax credit application, third-party professionals (engineers, architects, accountants and legal counsels) management, non-profit entity engagement and LIHTC development compliance.

David has over 25 years of real estate experience in property and asset management, development, investments, and financing; 3 years of treasury experience with a Fortune 500 company; and 6 years of management consulting experience with clients in the defense, public utilities, consumer goods and finance industries. David is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) through the National Association of Home Builders. He served on the HCCP Board of Governors as a board member for five years and as the Chair for one year. David has a master’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
